Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Digital Transformation in Africa upholds stringent standards to prevent copyright infringement, plagiarism, and violations of ethical publishing practices. Each submitted manuscript is thoroughly screened for originality using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin, ensuring adherence to ethical writing standards. We are dedicated to investigating any allegations of plagiarism or improper use of published work.

In cases where an article is found to have plagiarized another work, used third-party copyrighted material without authorization, failed to properly acknowledge sources, or if authorship disputes arise, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate actions, which may include:

  • Article Retraction: If plagiarism or copyright infringement is confirmed, the journal will retract the article from publication.
  • Publishing a Correction: A correction may be issued to address any inaccuracies or misattributions.
  • Reporting to Authorities: The journal reserves the right to report the issue to the author’s institution, academic bodies, or relevant professional societies for further investigation and action.
