Authors who submit to the journal are expected to meet established authorship criteria, ensuring that all contributors have played a significant role in the research and development of the manuscript. Below are the guidelines to ensure transparency and fairness in authorship.

Authorship Criteria

  • Eligibility for Authorship: Authors must have made significant contributions to:
    1. Conception or design of the work; or acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data.
    2. Drafting the manuscript or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
    3. Final approval of the version to be published.
  • All three criteria must be met to qualify for authorship.
  • Acknowledgment of Contributions: Individuals who contributed but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged with their permission.

Ethical Responsibilities

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism. Proper attribution and citation of others’ work are mandatory.
  • Multiple Submissions: Manuscripts submitted must not be under consideration elsewhere and should not have been previously published.
  • Acknowledging Sources: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.

Conflicts of Interest

  • Disclosure of Conflicts: Authors must disclose any financial, academic, or personal conflicts of interest that could affect the research or its interpretation.
  • Managing Conflicts: Authors should manage conflicts of interest transparently and according to journal policies.

Data Availability and Transparency

  • Data Access: Authors are encouraged to make their data publicly available, where possible, to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Raw Data: If requested by the journal, authors should be prepared to provide access to raw data and other supplementary materials.

Reporting Standards

  • Accuracy of Work: Authors should present an accurate account of the work performed, including an objective discussion of its significance.
  • Erratum and Retractions: If errors are discovered in the published work, authors must cooperate with the journal to issue retractions or corrections promptly.

Human and Animal Rights

  • Ethics Approval: For research involving human subjects or animals, authors must confirm that all procedures were in accordance with ethical standards of the institutional or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration.
  • Informed Consent: Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all participants involved in the research.

Submission and Review Process
